The connector was literally taken off the board.

I might be able to solder the contacts, connector back on to the board itself and get it to work. I will sit down when I have the time to do this and not feel rushed.

Otherwise I will solder the contacts back onto the board and connect alligator clips to them (soldered to the cable.)

Al there is on the board are the solder points.

I do have a fine tip soldering iron to do some of this work.
