Hi Paul, Are you thinking it could be the contents of a particular users mailbox that's the culprit?
Using freebsd the equivalent I believe is fstat so the output would be similar to this:- [root@mail4-db-4a /usr/ports/sysutils/pidof]# fstat -p `pidof dbmail-pop3d` USER CMD PID FD MOUNT INUM MODE SZ|DV R/W nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 text /usr/local 17852 -rwxr-xr-x 27730 r nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 wd / 4 drwxr-xr-x 29 r nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 root / 4 drwxr-xr-x 29 r nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 0 /dev 19 crw-rw-rw- null r nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 1 /var/log 40 -rw------- 0 w nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 2 /var/log 41 -rw------- 18327931 w nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 3* local dgram fffffe01a7d48960 <-> fffffe001ee361e0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 4* local stream fffffe03ab616b40 <-> fffffe01a90c3780 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 5* local stream fffffe016c75ea50 <-> fffffe01a54b9d20 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 6* local stream fffffe03a394e2d0 <-> fffffe00cefd92d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 7* local stream fffffe016c768d20 <-> fffffe0350cda5a0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 8* local stream fffffe0570076a50 <-> fffffe00cefd9000 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 9 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 10* pipe fffffe04801e9888 <-> fffffe04801e99e0 0 rw nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 11* pipe fffffe04801e99e0 <-> fffffe04801e9888 0 rw nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 12* internet stream tcp fffffe01acf4f3d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 13 /var/run 67 -rw-r--r-- 6 w nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 14* internet stream tcp fffffe05ee771000 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 15* internet stream tcp fffffe0116b1db70 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 16* internet stream tcp fffffe00bd5877a0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 18* internet stream tcp fffffe05d8c593d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 19* internet stream tcp fffffe01ebabcb70 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 20* internet stream tcp fffffe02744b0000 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 21* internet stream tcp fffffe016c93d3d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 23* internet stream tcp fffffe029b4d33d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 26* internet stream tcp fffffe00c8a93000 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 28* internet stream tcp fffffe023bde57a0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 30* internet stream tcp fffffe0544e55000 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 31* internet stream tcp fffffe013650eb70 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 32* internet stream tcp fffffe0235b3e7a0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 33* internet stream tcp fffffe03b29383d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 35* internet stream tcp fffffe05c388b3d0 nobody dbmail-pop3d 60093 36* internet stream tcp fffffe029b4d5000 I should also point out that we do make use of a proxy that sits in front of all this (dovecot) Best regards, James Greig -----Original Message----- From: dbmail-boun...@dbmail.org [mailto:dbmail-boun...@dbmail.org] On Behalf Of Paul J Stevens Sent: 14 March 2014 13:24 To: DBMail mailinglist Subject: Re: [Dbmail] Iphone HTML emails On 14-03-14 14:23, Paul J Stevens wrote: > Now who is filehandle 15?
