Thanks Giacomo, as you can see from the original request of Philipp this file already had a designated translator (me in this case, incidentally). The correct process is to find a translation who currently has no translator. Moreover any translation should be submitted for review in the Italian mailing list. Your file for instance has some minor errors. The correct procedure is also after the translation is reviewed to send it as a bug report to the corresponding package. You can find all the relevant information on the Italian page on the translations of debconf messages https://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po-debconf/README-trans.it.html and also in the pages on the Debian Wiki on the localization in Italian. Also you can ask informations in the italian mailing list. I will send another mail pointing out some more details in a second message in Italian on the mailing list.
