Kami: The management of interim releases comes up in regular intervals. I agree, it is a waste of resources of time that email messages refer to a mysterious "latest interim" - instead of simply qualifying, "interim 1.76i6". I just can't see how that can possible take more time to the author - but it will help every customer who is running interim releases.
Like you and myself, I'm sure that many people end up downloading an interim release to find out WHICH version the "latest" is - just to discover that they are running THAT number already.
