Hey Russ, I know that this sounds strange (but it is only said as I had the same issues)
RTFM is your friend! http://farcry.daemon.com.au/go/documentation/installation/installation-guide the step by step guide had me up and running (but only after I did it step by step) the big catch is your Application mapping in the farcry config - make sure that it is '/' if your web site is at the root and that your IIS config is pointing to E:\wwwroot\mysite.com\wwwroot as the webroot... I think they are geared toward setting up Apache or somehting. Do you have to have all the farcry core_file in every site, or can you just have a single copy on the server and create a virtual directory on the website to the folder. I have tried various ways of installing by when trying to login to the site or the farcry it always seems to go to the wrong URL. E.G I setup <applicationNmae> as mydomain.com and the paths are are follows E:\wwwroot\farcry_core E:\wwwroot\farcry_aura E:\wwwroot\fourQ All sites are in the following format. E:\wwwroot\mysite.com\wwwroot Now I notice that farcry assumes the site is in \www but I presume this can be changed to \wwwroot When the install has finished, farcry tries to browse the site as http://127.0.0.1/mysite.com Instead of http://mysite.com/ Russ -- These lists are syncronised with the CFDeveloper forum at http://forum.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40lists.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ CFDeveloper Sponsors and contributors:- *Hosting and support provided by CFMXhosting.co.uk* :: *ActivePDF provided by activepdf.com* *Forums provided by fusetalk.com* :: *ProWorkFlow provided by proworkflow.com* *Tutorials provided by helmguru.com* :: *Lists hosted by gradwell.com* To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- These lists are syncronised with the CFDeveloper forum at http://forum.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/dev%40lists.cfdeveloper.co.uk/ CFDeveloper Sponsors and contributors:- *Hosting and support provided by CFMXhosting.co.uk* :: *ActivePDF provided by activepdf.com* *Forums provided by fusetalk.com* :: *ProWorkFlow provided by proworkflow.com* *Tutorials provided by helmguru.com* :: *Lists hosted by gradwell.com* To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
