I checked bus mastering following the directions I found on a website (setpci -s
<device> 4.w). I did the check while X was working fine and then did the check
again after ssh'ing into my system after X crashed from an OpenGL app. The
results were the same both time. I tried it for four different devices (my
card, my AGP bus, my PCI bus, and some other device that looked like it might be
related).
