------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-18-10 10:08 ------- Created an attachment (id=740) --> (http://bugs.xfree86.org/attachment.cgi?id=740&action=view) Linux 2.6.0-test7 .config (no modules) Sure, here you go. I run a monolithic kernel (no modules), but I think module support is still enabled (ya, I suck). Honestly, I would suggest trying a tighter distro. I moved away from RedHat just this past summer. I was sick of not being able to compile anything because of dated libs, not understanding what half the stuff in /etc did, and feeling like my machine was some mess that miraculously worked 90% of the time. I'm running CRUX (http://www.crux.nu) right now, and I couldn't be happier. i686 optimized, simple but adequate package management, and no bloat. Everything works; everything's easy to understand. Not to mention a *full* install is like 300MB ;) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.xfree86.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email sponsored by: Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo The Event For Linux Datacenter Solutions & Strategies in The Enterprise Linux in the Boardroom; in the Front Office; & in the Server Room http://www.enterpriselinuxforum.com _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
