I'd like one of the gurus to supply some guidance. USC is currently
running 1.3.2 and will be upgrading to 1.4.5 upon resolution of this
issue.

Due to the manner in which institutional responsibilities are
partitioned here, it was not possible for me to install 1.3.2 exactly
where I wanted to install it. Because of permission issues, it had to
be installed into /var/local/whereIhadpermissions/dspace. Well many
months later, I have managed to get the system administrators to grant
me necessary permissions to install to /var/local/dspace.

So the question. How to I upgrade? If I copy the current instance from
where it is to where I want it, all the paths will be wrong (and I
suspect that the upgrade routine won't correct that). Any thoughts or
suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
