Do you mean the Award Flags? They should never be set automatically unless you perform a Submit from the Reports Menu. Go to your preferences, and click on the F2 tab. My guess is that the last box is checked (alert if new for award, or something like that). That may be setting the awards flag(s). I never use that feature. Please read this application note. You don't have to work it on that band/mode again.
