As for a primer for threadlocker, again I didn't know about it, but have been washing the oils off the shaft with acetone.
I have figured out a way to install some "keys" in the motor shaft to flywheel joint, involving using the mill for a horizontal drill, and G33.1 on the x axis to do the tapping. There isn't room for a cap screw head, so I'll locate some long setscrews and tap with a non-blind hole tapered tap a bit shorter depthwise so the setscrews are jammed against a too shallow thread by the time they are screwed in flush.
