yes, but what about people like me who are not committed to any one
framework and want to find out about them before making a choice?

Specifically, this year I want to compare Django with Turbogears,
which seems to have undergone a renaissance and may have advantages
over Django for specific types of application.

The conference is for genralists as well as specialists.

Yes, up to a point, and of course we'll get it wrong. But some talks
'obviously' are more niche than others.
