No point, really. Both Type 1 and TrueType are vector fonts, and contain much the same information. You can even convert from TT to Type 1 with almost no problem with a little DOS utility (not the other way as easily, since TT contains more info than Type 1). Other than to print Postscript files, there's no reason I'm aware of for paying the extra for a PS printer anymore. Other comments?
