I understand that the limitation of the .net provider fbBackup was caused by a limitation on the server api. The functionality is in place starting with version 2.5.2. This leads to the question, if this function is on the roadmap for the .net provider. Jiri, can please comment on that? Btw: What is the best way to support the Firebird developers - is it a membership in the Firebird Foundation? The effort and very impressive results that are delivered by the develoment team require support.
