Hi Alison, Do you have this issue for all paragraphs? No matter in which paragraph your insertion mark is? If only in a specific paragraph, there is a special paragraph property which you can see only in MIF. This would allow only that you enter text, but you cannot change the paragraph format. Enter some characters which you can find easily, e.g. üüüüü. Then convert to MIF, open in a text editor and search for these characters. The paragraph could have a property nach <PgfLocked Yes>. Just change this to No. Save and open in FrameMaker.
If this is not the case, your description does not match my Paragraph Designer. I have only a single checkbox for Small Caps/Uppercase/Lowercase and not two as you describe. Note that this hasn't affected any of the other new and updated styles I've worked on so far. FYI: The style uses 11 pt regular Calibri, with 12 points below and a 6mm hanging indent.
