I could not make much out of that error message (still need to learn a lot of languages ;) ) but looks like a problem with your video output driver settings. Check in /etc/mplayer.conf and ~/.mplayer/gui.conf as to which vo drivers you are using in each of them. gui.conf has correct "vo_driver" configuration while mplayer.conf doesn't. Hope that helps.
