If there had been an intentional change to podcast only I would have
expected the programme PIDs to begin p06r.... or p06q.... instead of
which they continue to begin m000.... We'll have to see what happens
with the next episode and whether an original or editorial version is
added for these two programmes, and whether similar changes are made to
other programmes.
There has now been another episode of In Our Time (Hope, m00017vl). So
far that too only has a podcast version (p06sjjhx) and no original
version. It is beginning to look as though the change was intentional.
Other recent radio programmes with podcasts I have looked at still have
an original version as well as the podcast (apart from programmes like
Brexitcast which is not broadcast and only has a podcast). Indeed I
have not seen any that don't. Has anyone else?
In my (limited) experience the original version is usually released
before the podcast.
