Sorry for the delay, apparently the department in Concord has a very high turnover rate. The person I was talking to two months ago quit and was replaced twice.
We got the permit today. Finally. They're going to unlock the electric box for us in the morning so we'll have an outlet to use for laptops (for burning extra CDs, etc). Now we just need to hope for a dry Saturday the 20th.
