Sorry, this should be enough information. Like i said, just try to make some better servers now by yourself.

Cannot agree with that, iam still getting 500FPS when setting fps_max 0.

@John:
Yes, maybe you are right. In any case, this limitation is no problem for my servers as my results showed me a smoother gameplay with much lower fps than 2.000 or 10.0000. As you are one of the less providers to really seem to know what you are talking about, i believe that you will also find a solution for handling with this update on your servers. But maybe for some providers, this will be a problem.

This update has been done, as valve has not been giving out any information right now we just have to deal with it. Regardless, if this update is just a stopgap solution or if there is any other reason.

Confirm:
===================
console:>  fps_max
"fps_max" = "1000" ( def. "300" )
  - Frame rate limiter

console:>  stats
CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
0.00    0.00    0.00    0               0          454.66       0
===================

Valve, are you kidding??

This update has caused all of our server's FPS to sit at half the amount
it would usually sit at (~480 instead of ~1000). Is anyone else
experiencing this?
