Forgive me, Dan.. :-)

But this line of thinking drives me up a tree.

Who *cares* if people *know* there's a .tv top level domain?  People
don't *synthesize* domain names out of thin air (well, most people
don't), and if they're clicking on a link, they don't *need* to know
that the domain exists, do they?  :-)
