you on my system where it's failing consistently if you want to pass me an
instrumented driver to run. However you like. I'm willing to do some
legwork to get it working
It is an awful hack, but I have to run "ivtvctl --reset-ir" every minute
via cron to make sure that
the remote stays up; this works for me. That might tide you over until
the problem is resolved.
