I've tried several versions of the nvidia driver and based on what I
see and what I've read in the nvidia forums the interlace feature of
the driver doesn't work correctly. The 1.0.6xxx drivers all double the
scan lines, effectively halving the resolution. The 1.0.7xxx drivers
seem to drop the second field, leaving gaps in the picture. I've read
that this affects the fx series as well as the 440mx. Are you sure
that you're getting an even and odd field that are different in your
setup? If so, is there some extra options you passed the driver?

Are you talking for all fields, or just those of video being
played (scaled and output by the card via Xv)? I'm pretty sure that I'm
getting both fields, otherwise it would look like crap. I'll check for
sure when I get a chance.
