Testing: Checked out revision 2691 make ; make install ; depmod -a; shutdown pull power plug, hit power button a few times, wait a few minutes plug back in, boot up no sound cycled through all the -q 0-5 to see if any other had sound, none did Checked out revision 2687. make ; make install ; depmod -a ; shutdown pull power plug, hit power button a few times, wait a few minutes plug back in, boot up no sound cycled through all the -q 0-5 to see if any other had sound, none did Next test, ROM file you sent me I tried this with svn V 2693, 2691 and 2687 Same motions, no sound. So then I got really desperate and found I had an old tar'ed version on my system, 0.3.7k. Installed it, and put my old ROM back into place and all works fine. Very strange. Volume is low (of course) I hope this helps.
