Hi Stephen, I have Language Detection turned off, & it still reads in Italian. Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers! Sent from my iBarstool. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephen Bennett To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, May 25, 2017 2:31 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] confusing webpage
Hi Vikki and List Have you tried turning off the Language detect feature? While on the page, open quick settings with JawsKey + V, then type Language into the search box. Down arrow to the feature and make sure it's turned off. You can turn it back on later if you need it. I will paste the link to the page below so that if anyone would like to take a look, feel free. The page is in either Spanish or Italian. The speech is very fast and I need it slower to figure out the language, I think Spanish. That's not my problem, though. When I select the English option, it actually goes to the English page and shows only English on the screen. However, Jaws is still reading in the other language. Why would this happen and how can I fix it? Here is the link. http://www.postocd.org/ Thanks.
