You might need to configure 7zip so that it is available in your file context menus. This is usually something a programme tries to set when you install it, and there is probably a way to do this directly from Windows as well (I can look into it later if you want). If you already had winrar set to do this though, or installed winrar afterwards, that will probably be in your context menus rather than 7zip. BTW the Winrar trial message can be safely ignored. The programme still works fine. Although it's a very good programme and I'm not necessarily averse to paying the $20, I can understand why you might not want to. The shell option to extract with the programme should still be there in your context menus though. If not however, 7zip will work, as others are saying.
