That's interesting. When I tried to run FF 57 with JAWS 18, I got a message
warning me that my screen-reader would not function properly. This was a
message/alert that came from Firefox itself, and not JAWS. And indeed, JAWS
did not really work at all. However, the programme did not crash.

Whatever the case though, I'd still be curious to know why it is that there
isn't even rudimentary support for FS Quantum in JAWS. It would seem that
even with NVDA 17.3, the version I have as I still haven't installed the
update, the change in Firefox was somewhat anticipated, and attempts were
made to support it.

Actually, on my system Firefox 57 works fine with NVDA, but Firefox crashes
when i try to run it with JAWS 2018.
