Hello Tom, If you want to use the built-in auto numbering but you want numbering to stop after pressing enter key just change the style to normal. After pressing enter key and hearing the number you don't want press CTRL with Shift key and the letter N. This should remove the number on the line because you are switching from the list numbering style to the normal style.
