Thanks for the report. It turns out that there is a bug that causes the JDEbug menu not to appear if you are not using prj.el files. I use prj.el files so I was not seeing the bug. The next beta release in a few days will fix this. Meanwhile, you can avoid the problem by using prj.el files. Paul
