Were you able to go? Did he say anything we haven't heard before?

I decided to not attend after he started being a prick to my coworkers about recording, streaming, or otherwise making his presentation available for download. That, and he apparently smelled strongly of onions.

If he's going to demand that streaming be done in Ogg Theora, than he should point to a stable implementation of a streaming server that can do so.

We are graciously transcoding the recording and (trying) to get something to shove it into Ogg Theora, and if there is interest, I will inquire as to it's location once it's done. If the transcoder stops crashing. Someone else's problem, though.

Gregory

P.S.: While I did decide to not attend, and actually had real work to get done anyway, SOMEONE who did attend could have alerted the others from this list that were in attendance that my office was a scant 50 feet away, and y'all could have said hi. :)

If the presentation can be put into a file for downloading, this would be a legitimate use for BitTorrent. I'd be happy to seed it if someone has a tracker we can use.
