Mabye it's mandatory sentencing laws?

I like reading "The Magistrate's Blog" -- it kind of hilights some of
the stupidities in our legal system, from the point of view from over
the pond.

Who made the decision to put M$ boxes in the classroom? That's the first
head that should roll.

She's a substitute, right? Merely inform her that she'll no longer be
an available selection. No muss, no fuss.

(On the other hand, she's just gotten some real-world training in how
to handle such things, so it's a bit of a waste to throw away such
training -- assuming she learned anything.)
