I used the x86_64_syslinux_serial115200 image which appears to have it set
correctly in syslinux/syslinux.cfg
console=ttyS0,115200n8
I’m sure I got kernel output when booting with iPXE, using the same console=
setting, so I’m puzzled
(but it’s working OK so I’m happy enough for now).
