Thanks to all for your comments.

I knew there were going to be problems with a lot of family members when I sent out the family questionnaire via E-Mail and several responded back with "how do I fill out the questionnaire and send it back to you" or "how do I attach a picture to an E-Mail".

Agreed that most are only interested in a finished product or single click approach. I am trying the CD option from the tips section that you told me about. Only a select few will be interested in this approach. However those select few will most likely be my best source of additional information.

As suggested by this wonderful group maybe putting something on the internet would require the least handholding.

The only real reason that I haven't started down that path is that I haven't researched the different options and costs for the different internet providers. Any suggestions on who to use here in the USA and how much space I might need.

There is not doubt in my mind that once I start down that path, I will quickly get into programming and web design. Mainly because I want to.

I know there are internet sites that will publish the data for you, but I am a little uncomfortable that approach. My lack of experience leads me to having my own domain name and some control over who sees what data.

So, help me jump into the fire with your suggestions on providers and if I worry to much do to lack of experience.

Thanks

Wayne Boian

Generally, i find family are only interested in the finished product.
If i tell them to first download the family tree program, then they
are not bothered, if i supply the family tree program, its still to
much effort.

I've realized that you have to give it so that one click and its all
in front of them.

The question is, how do you combine everything? - tree, docs &
photos? Because ultimatley, if all this could be viewed via PDF, it
would be perfect for me. The photos and the tree is no problem for the
PDF, but the docs only appear smallish, and they need to the FULL SIZE
PAGE for sharing with family members so they can see it properly.
This is the only snag i'm facing with this scenario. I have tried to
get the docs bigger when doing saving the tree to PDF, but it doesnt
work, unless i'm missing something here?
