This workaround in internal namespace work:
    
    typedef pqxx::disable_noticer disable_noticer; 

And also

-cl : Command line warning D9035 : option 'GZ' has been deprecated and will be 
re
moved in a future release

    use /RTC1 instead

Thanks!  The fixes have all been committed to trunk, and I've posted a
notice on the pqxx.org front page.

Can anyone with Visual C++ confirm that the "typedef" workaround on
pqxx.org really works?  If it does, perhaps we can avoid a premature
2.6.10 release.
