may be someone could give me a short hint, what's to do in the following circumstance. Cause on my notebook there are only two usb connections i decided to buy a "4port USB HUB". Everything will be ok when i dropped out the usb-mouse and the cd-writer when the machine is "on" and with 'tail -f /var/log/messages' i could follow the correct "initialize", (sorry for my 'english'). So the problem is when the machine starts from zero, then 'kudzu' i think gives the message that the usb-mouse has removed from the system and ask me what's to do ....with the result after "nothing" or "let everything like it is" that i have no mouse moving or dedecting cd-writer. usb-core and storage are active.
For a little help i would be glad!
Cheers Thomas
