What's the status of local apps on LTSP 5? I read this page:

http://www.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/LocalApps

but I'm not sure what applies to LTSP 4.2 and what applies to LTSP 5.
The top of that page says "it already works out of the box on all
supported LTSP5 distributions", but there must be some configuration.

I'm running Debian Lenny with LTSP 5 and I'd like to get a webcam
application called luvcview to run locally (and I need to save pictures
to the server or to a network drive).

Any pointers would be appreciated.
