Wild guess on my part, and apparently not a good one. I suppose the first thing to do is to turn off Spider Oak's autosync and see if that makes the problem go away. All of this seems to use QFileSystemWatcher in the background, so we are beholden to whatever it thinks counts as a file change. A momentary renaming or whatever seems as if it could trigger that, from what I can tell, and that kind of thing might well happen during syncing. I wonder if even the locking and unlocking that has caused other problems might trigger it? Riki
