Hi Lynne,  I think you said Gordon has a 2009 Mac Book Pro.  That one I think 
is supposed to go over 4 GB ram.  I have a Mac Book White case.  If I put in 8 
GB I'm going over the 4 gig limit Apple says I have for the White case.  I'd 
love Gordon's thoughts on this as I suspect I could use the extra ram. 
Other listers are reporting that Other World Computing says my unit can run 8 
GB but I don't want to damage my machine or do all that work just to find it 
doesn't work!

So you did go first but not a first in a white case pushing Apples limits!

Or, is his also a white case?
