Hi Catherine, I am providing you with a link of an audio presentation where Steve Sawczyn shows how to configure the MacBook Pro and VoiceOver so that you can use the keyboard to control or option click the mouse. Steve is showing how to access the Dropbox menu using option click but you could apply the same idea to a file.
