Hello! I've been using xbindkeys[1] for some weeks now to map the "Eject" button to the "xterm" command, so I can easily press the top right key on my keyboard and have an open xterm.
[1] http://hocwp.free.fr/xbindkeys/xbindkeys.html However, this functionality stopped working this morning - I guess some Debian package upgrade might be the problem. I don't receive the keypresses in X using "xev". Has anybody else experienced this? I'd really like to handle the "Eject" key on my MacBook in userspace, the real "Eject" function of it isn't really useful to me :) Oh, yes: I'm using the standard Debian kernel 2.6.17-2-686, no mactel patches (but as I said - it worked before w/o the mactel patches). thp ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
