The license of OpenSSH is here: http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/usr.bin/ssh/LICENCE?rev=HEAD According to http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html this is GPL-compatible (modified BSD license or better).
