I am trying to confirm/deny that what I suspect is true and so far my google-fu
is weak. We are using ADFS for access to a third-party resource and it is
working fine as a general statement. We had a person report an issue with
accessing and, after some troubleshooting, noted that this person was using a
cached domain logon when the problem presented. So, the computer is joined to
the domain and they are accessing while the computer is off the domain
(connected to internet via WiFi and logged on using cached credentials). It
would seem that the cached logon “spoofing” being on the domain, yet not having
a ticket that was issued by a domain controller, is presenting an issue with
ADFS. Can anyone confirm/deny that this particular method will not work?
