MS-CRM has come a long way. But it's still a resource hog. Especially for a small number of users.
That being said - Business Contact Manager for Outlook, which used to be single user, can now handle several users. Sugar is the clear choice for opensource. Salesforce is superb and fairly reasonable. Autotask has just released a stunning value package for their GO! service at $29 per month per user.
