Hello to everyone!

My first post, and I'm still a slightly green noob, so please forgive
my ignorance.

I'm having problems with the DS2423 chip.

I know that there was a previous thread discussing this, but in that
case the problem appeared to be resolved. Why should it appear again
now?

My error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ owread -s 3002 /1D.C70B09000000/counters.A
Data error on /1D.C70B09000000/counters.A
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ owread -s 3002 /1D.C70B09000000/type
DS2423

I've also got temperature sensors on the bus. The one beyond the
DS2423 responds fine.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ owread -s 3002 /10.8BF13E010800/type
DS18S20
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ owread -s 3002 /10.8BF13E010800/temperature
21.5

I'm currently running version 2.6p5-27 on a WRT54GL (1.1) running
OpenWRT WhiteRussian 0.9.
I've tried downgrading owlib to 2.6p5-20 from
"http://home.mag.cx/openwrt/0.9/packages/owlib_2.6p5-20_mipsel.ipk";
but this doesn't help.

The owhttpd generated page for my DS2423 gives states "Error: Invalid
Argument" for;
- counters.ALL
- counters.A
- counters.B
- memory
- mincount
- pages/ { all entries }

The other entries appear to be fine.

I'm really running out of ideas on this one and would appreciate a
heads-up or a good strong kick in the right direction

Thanks,

David
