NO there is no variation,  this discussion is centred around MEDICARE...the 
Govt refund for fees charged. All women should be entitled to midwifery care & 
to be recompensed for an agreed scheduled fee.
There is no recognition of a registered midwife in IP being qualified to 
provide the specialised care for maternity clients for which she has been 
trained.

Some private health funds recomp up to $2000 of a MIPP fee, it's up to the 
consumer to shop around for the best deal here as Justine pointed out in a 
previous email.
