Fair enough. I'm in no rush to finalize this .exe now, so I can certainly wait for an ActivePerl 5.8.2, or focus on the 5.6.x series. My goal here, really, is to get XML::Parser 2.34 going in a compile (else, I'll have to do a dirty patch of XML::Parser 2.27 and ship that, and I've been rather dreading that circumstance, even though it's a one line change). Everything else is ancilliary.
