Apple TV is a media receiver that you connect to your HD TV or home theater system. It allows you to watch or listen to the contents of your iTunes library, rented movies and TV shows and purchased music, streamed from your computer through your wireless network. VoiceOver speaks the devices menus and the titles of the movies and TV episodes that you select to be played with a remote control.

You can go to blindbargains.com where you will find a link to an article in MacWorld about Apple TV and a Flash presentation of VoiceOver speaking menus and media titles.

Hello All,

Ok, I'm out of the loop somehow, but this morning is the first time I've
heard about Apple TV with VoiceOver.

What is Apple TV? Is it a device like an iPod or is it simply an
application for your iPhone or iPod? Why is it considered to be a great
product for the home theater enthusiast?

Thanks much.

Kris
