Frankie, I sold a SMC Pentax-M 35mm f/2.0 and SMC K Pentax 28mm f/3.5 to purchase a SMC Pentax K 30mm f/2.8 and have not regretted the decision. I did not perform any formal tests, but I feel the images the K 30mm produces are superior to the M 35mm and K 28mm. If you can find a K 30mm at a reasonable price, I would recommend you purchase it...
