Hi!

When having pdfs that mainly contain text, I use pdf2txt, create a html-page as index for the folder (by pointing firefox to the folder and then save as file) and then pluck that html-page. Works great.

The problem with pdf2html, is that it really produces unworkable output. Bleck. I'd rather cut and paste with xpdf than use it. YMMV, of course, but I've never had good luck with it.

You could also roll some perl, python or other glue around the various pdf output tools and come up with something...
