Got a good point there.  Did not notice our "official" job vacancy posting 
still has the BS degree requirement.  We've talked about this within  our 
company and it was agreed that a BS degree is not an absolute 
requirement.  Sorry about that.

Definitely not in our case =) (yes I'm getting a bit defensive here.... 
hehehe).  If our budgets permit it, we'll definitely go for somebody with 
the experience.  (Unless, of course, the requirement is for junior 
operators or SysAd trainees.)

So erratum to my "Wanted: SysAds" post: non-degree holders are also welcome.

Of course, this is not to say that a BS Degree is no longer relevant.  It's 
still an advantage.  Maybe ads should say "BS Degree holder in CS or 
related field an advantage" instead of making it an absolute requirement.
