Hi Norman, For tests, I've gone back to the normal Suse Kernal, but there was no change, it still works OK here.
A -probably stupid - question: have you switched off all the stuff that Suse autostarts (e.g. the *- +**$ Beagle indexing, Man pages autoupdate etc...)? If not, could you leave the machine on for an hour while they do their stuff and then retry it? Perhaps the irregular keyboard is due to other jobs whittling away in the background?
