Hi -

as Martin hinted, the qcl contrib will offer acl both on the client and on
the server. It is most easy to see in the QxTransformer support of qcl:

http://qooxdoo.org/contrib/project/qcl/tutorial_application#the_application_body

The access control done on the client doesn't need any XML, it can also be
"handcoded", see

http://cboulanger.users.sourceforge.net/qooxdoo-contrib/qcl/trunk/api/#qcl.access

On the server, service classes act as controllers and provide access to
model data only through acls:

http://qooxdoo.org/contrib/project/qcl/model_access_control

I wish I could present a finished and polished framework, since I need to
finish a project that is based on it myself. Too bad the day doesn't have 48
hours - I am close but providing a well-tested and documented framework just
take sooo much time, even if it is just a small number of classes.

But I'll keep you informed, in case anyone finds that stuff useful.
